Peer review procedure

PSU Press adheres to a strict and rigorous peer-review process.

We send all scholarly book projects under consideration to at least two anonymous peer reviewers. An internal committee then vets the projects before they are brought for final review to a board made up of Penn State University faculty.

Books in our regional series, Keystone Books, undergo at least one outside, anonymous peer review before being closely examined by our internal publications committee.
