Padova University Press
Peer review procedure
Book and book series peer review description
Our approach to peer review reflects our commitment to academic excellence and editorial quality. All submissions should be sent to the Director of Padova University Press. The suitability of each proposal will be first assessed by the Director under the supervision of the Editorial Board, a group of experienced scholars with expertise in different fields of knowledge.
The Editorial Board will then examine all submissions and decide whether to accept or reject them or to ask the author to revise their work.
Authors can submit new publication proposals directly to Padova University Press or through the scientific committee of one of the series already published in the Padova University Press catalogue.
All Padova University Press volumes included in the OAPEN Library are open access publications and are mostly “double-blind” peer-reviewed. Further information is available on the page devoted to each publication on the Padova University Press website https://www.padovauniversitypress.it.
If the scientific value of a work is proven, the approval of the editorial board can compensatefor the lack of external review.
The lists of the members of the editorial board, the editors and the scientific committees are available on the Padova University Press website https://www.padovauniversitypress.it.
