Ishara Press
Peer review procedure
All of Ishara Press publications are peer-reviewed, which ensures that the quality of our publications is to an extremely high standard. All of our publications are reviewed by a board of scholars and experts.
For the Ishara Research Series the procedure is as follows:
A manuscript that qualifies for publication by Ishara Press is sent by the publisher to the Ishara Research Series editorial board. One member of the board will take responsibility for the manuscript throughout the peer review process.
Each manuscript undergoes review from two different people. One review will be completed by a member of the board. The second review will either be completed by another member of the board, or a carefully selected scholar.
After the reviews have been completed, the findings will be presented to the Ishara Research Series editorial board. The board will then make a decision regarding the publication of the manuscript.
The peer review procedure is coordinated by the Ishara Press project manager, under supervision of and in close cooperation with the publishers, and the Ishara Research Series board.
